Im new here and in modeling. Here's my first post at this forum. The character is based on an anime.
I liked the char and the overall idea of his living room. I hope you can give me some comments and crits for this, thank you ^^

I added more detail at the "mouth" and the feet and tried to add more polys for the armpits.
if you're looking for crits against the source material, might help to post or link a picture or two from the cartoon.
I happened to have watched an episode of this the other night, and was completely confused by the emperor penguin that lived in their livingroom and drank beer.
Naturally I thought it was awesome. He's looking pretty much as I remember he did, though his feet seem awfully dense.
only crit the 3 button thing that he uses to open the door shouldnt be part of the big mesh if you extract it and merge all the verts below together you get a lower polycount with practicly no visual-quality loss
Its a little hard to tell from the angles, but it looks like he's sucking in his stomach to impress the ladies.
the inside of his beak probably doesn't need that many divisions, could probably merge the middle three into one.
His eye-brow crest thingies: they look good from the side, but you can see in the reference sheet they should be able to turn almost perpendicular to his face for expression - or at least the back part. Might want to flare them out a bit to either side rather than just going straight back.
Personally, I would probably have just made his fingers intersecting geometry, saved some polys and some grief when it comes time to weight him.

i hopefully fixed all problems and would now start texturing.
