Hi guys and girls (are there any girls here?),
I just registered and I wanted to say hi first before I start chiming in with my crits and such. I am a female artist trying to get my start in game development. You can check out my site here if you'd like.

I have been a Maya user, but I'm currently giving myself a crash course in Max at the moment. I'll be adding my first Max model to my site shortly. Any crits on my site or advice for a wannabe developer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. This site looks like it has a lot of great info on it.

I had a look at your site whilst at work and there's some really nice work, both traditional and CG related- I'm sure you're gonna fit right in here, as long as you don't stand too close to EarthQuake
Yeah, stay away from EQ, he's all hands. and there's a few others you may need to know about:
"Cheapy" or CheapAlert draws gargoyles and thier gentitalia almost exclusively. There's also a guy named "poopinmymouth", he's an alright guy if you can get past his name. :P

And Dukester,um.. what do you mean button link? For what?
Paul, thanks for letting me know about those events coming up. I will definitely try to make it out this Saturday. Oh, and I have already graduated from UNT. I'm just, at this point, adding to my portfolio and getting ready to send out resumes. I'm shooting for the Dallas area first since I'm already here.
