i'm always wathing the perfect models at the home page and i really wish to be good that way and ableto model a complete humnoid or creature model that way,

I also suggest looking at other polycounter's signatures, web sites, etc as many of them have great tutorials.

I would check out the Tutorials that come with Max7 in addition to what Chris pointed out.
