Erik is a very talented guy, but he actually responded to a Liquid "help wanted" ad at one point - as if we would outsource work that was outsourced to us from a full dev studio

Isn't that just about how liquid started, outsourcing outsoursed materials to independent artists? His work is good stuff and honestly i would rather he checked through any work i might send him than 90% of the art directors that i have worked with.

yeah I thought it was a little odd to receive that email this morning...not once but three times. I’m not sure how successful he is but I applaud him for being able to do his own thing. Not a lot of people can do that.

Well, we still use a LOT of outside contract artists, but he is actually more like a competitor. So it wouldn't be very wise business sense for Liquid to put him in contact with our clients.
