Does anyone have any opinions about which fps engine seamlessly integrates into a maya pipeline and workflow? I'm looking to make a city type level with buildings you can enter.
How is the lighting in that engine, do you have to bake, or do you get real time feedback? And what version supports Maya, are you using ut2k4 or does one come with pharia or unreal 2? How can I get the editor.
The Unreal 3 engine rocks. Learn the older version, which is similar in workflow so that you'll be ready for the new one when it comes out. The lighting, material editor, and particles are just sick.
