Hi here is my entry. I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish it though. frown.gif I wanted to make a modern Frankenstein type character. The model is 256 polys. The skin is far from over and am not very good at painting human textures from scratch. I based the model losely off this concept I made awhile back except I wanted it to be "cute". Let me know what you think. Thanks.

    Heh Cheap I googled that since I never heard of PIE IN THE SKY 3D GAME CREATION SYSTEM ... Wow 3D games have come along way in the last few years. smile.gif

    Sadly, I considered buying that program, and I still remember it pretty well. Thank god I didn't waste the money wink.gif

    I like your model, but I think if you choose some different colors in the texture it would help a lot. Maybe more of a dead-looking desaturated green color for the skin, and a better idea of what he should be wearing. I am terrible at picking what clothes I want a character to wear, but the "muscle shirt and slacks" seems to be what I always do when I can't think of a good outfit :P

    You might want to consider giving him no shirt, so you can see his mutilated chest or something, and give him som tattered black pants? These are just ideas that I can imagine him wearing. Keep it up, hope you can finish!

    The arms and head have a lot of strong dynamic angles. The legs seem to have been left out of this design scheme. Same goes for the texture. The arms and head have one character, while the rest of the body is a guy in a wifebeater and jeans. For the lowerhalf, I suggest looking into the Megaman style of character design for enhancing your shapes.

    Of course, back then it was less than DOOM (1) technology. All sprites and no textures allowed on floors/ceilings. You kids today, with your polygons, and your... HEY! Get off my lawn!
