Behold the mutilation of my lovely hands...
I've been working on this ZSphere model for a while. WHen it was first created everything looked fine and dandy. I started with the head and torso so hid the rest. Now that I've come to work on the arms I find that the thumb Zspheres on only one arm have corrupted, in spite of the fact that everything has been symetrical right the way through the modelling process. I've tried Resyming it at every level of tesselation back and forth but it doesn't help much.
I'm wondering what my best option is here given that I've already spent a lot of time sculpting the body and head.

Maybe lower the subdivision level so you can get a better idea of what's happening to the preview mesh too.

As it turns out it wasn't all that difficult to fix. Just a matter of turning off symmetry, using a whole lot of smooth brush and then Resyming. It'd be good to know what caused this to occur initally though.
EDIT:Actually no, the problem is back and now resym either does nothing or just makes it all spiky. Inflating and smoothing don't seem to help the process at all.
