it looks like you've got alot of keyframes close together making the movement look jerky. You only need a keyframe at the beginning and the end of a movement, you can adjust the animation curves later to tweak the ease-in and ease-out. If you have a digital video camera or a webcam, take some video of yourself acting out the movement or have a mirror next to your work area. Don't worry about looking silly, that's what animation is all about.
well It is a first for me. thanks for the crits. I might try that Justin, with the camera. I don't know how to animate in 3d studio max. I just posed Armitage and took a picture, posed took a pic, and so on and so on. After that I took all the pictures and used that Graphics gale program and just pasted each pic I took in each frame. Maybe someone can show me to a good tutorial on animating in MAX 6.
