Newbie needs help!

Hello i'm new here and already got some problems to solve.
1 I need a plugin for Blender or Lightwave that could let me export 3DSMax ASCII files(.ASC) i prefer blender but if there's no plugin for it then lightwave would fit.
2 Is there someone in these forums that knows what camera angles i need to set to render Units for Starcraft in Blender or Lightwave.
