'Chinatown' is a modern masterpiece, your penance is to see it as soon as you freaking can. It was on Showtime Showcase the other night, it's not hard to find. That's like never having seen 'The Godfather', fer cryin aloud.

yeah, it is a classic...they make you watch it in every film class. But, I dunno... fell short in a lot of ways for me.
