Anyone have a link to images of the revamped Everquest artwork?
I have no idea if it's for EQ or EQ2... but i remember seeing comparison screenshots of the original artwork and the artwork done by artists from Squaresoft. I think the deal was that Sony wanted revised art for the japanese release.

I know it's out there! I just can't seem to find it...

i dont think it was squaresoft artist that did that.. and i think they both suck about the same.. one just sucks for being american art the other just sucks for being asian...both are pretty bad IMO

Did you look at the difference in the two human female models? One looks like she has down's syndrome, and the other looks pretty decent.

Yeah i agree with soul. I thought EQ2 looked a whole hell of a lot better than that. :O

I personally think the Asian version looks pretty good for MMPRG characters ...I mean look at what else is out there I personally think World or Warcraft chatacters look like ass but most people disagree they like the stylish style . Final Fantasy Online has the only half way decent MMPG character art in my opinion. Im still waiting for a MMPG to have characters that look as good as Soul Calibur characters that would be awesome !

Most of the men look like women, and most of the women look weird. In both versions.
The Asian version looks a lot better, though. Mainly because of textures and materials, I'd say.
