I tried creating my first video tutorial. More like a demonstration actually, since Wings is a very simple app. This 7 minute video shows how to use functions like AuvCharts, Cuts, and Unfolding to quickly unwrap geometry for texturing.

The video was created using a registered version of Fraps. And the narration recorded using an opensource audio editor called Audacity. Everything was mixed together in Windows Movie Maker. Please excuse my narration, the timing is off at times, and I usually have trouble pronouncing big words.
If you're unfamiliar with Wings (you know who you are), or just looking for a different method for UVmapping, please check this out and tell me what you think.
Video now in Xvid format, thanks to lee3dee.

If you would like another video format, I converted it into a 22mb xvid file that I can send to you over AIM when I see ya online
But it is a good idea, UV mapping in Wings is really quite nice.
Please host the xvid file also, as I refuse to deal with that wmv crap

Hehe. Sorry about that. I'm not a fan of wmv either.
Tried unsuccessfuly to convert it to mov. I may consider purchasing Premiere Elements soon, if I plan to do something like this again.
Lee, I'll be on most of the day if you could send that file over. I appreciate that.
Video now converted to Xvid for your viewing pleasure, compliments of Lee3dee.
Just the sound is a bit strange, with the VLC player it stutters a bit, while with mplayer it doesn't. Not sure why
Thanks for making it.
Poop: I love you too....er..i mean, thanks dude.
