1944 Game Home Page
Hi All
For anyone that may be interested at taking a stab at next gen game development. An indie dev team (Frantic Games) is currently developing a Next Gen game. This is an indie game with great prospects of for commercial success.
We have developed a complete HL2 mod which is soon to be released. But more importantly we have been working and developing a full commercial game for some time now
Technology:
1. Reality Engine (Yes Epic Games bought it out but we happened to buy a licence before them)
2. Speedtree
3. Novodex (Ageia Physx SDK)
More to be disclosed at a later date
We are looking for:
Texture Artists
Animators
Modellers (High and Low Poly)
People who can Normal Map (using High Poly meshes)
Level Editors
Basically the Game is a simulation of D-Day 1944, unlike your average WW2 game that focuses on the squad, we have deevloped an AI system that manages all the units in Normandy. Thats over 250,000 potential playable characters.
We have some of the best modellers and skinners currently online and we like to think our content speaks for itself if you believe this project interests you please feel free to contact me.

We are releasing the Games SDK next month if anyone is interested in modding, selected mod teams will get some 1st hand experience with the dev team.
Time for the content:
Ingame shots, using HDRI and Bloom, Rayleigh lighting system is not 100% correct just yet hence grey offset.
Purchased for Normal Mapping purposes, skins are temporary.

Thanks for your time, yes I know its another WW2 game, and there is alot of them out there, but I feel that one that allows you to see all of Normandy, and be any unit as opposed to 1 unit or 1 squad is a unique feature. If you are going to crit the merits or demerits of the game please read the faq available on the site or in the forums.
Anyone have any particular questions relating to the technology being using or game features please feel free to ask.
