Any comment is welcome, I plan on doing this up in Photoshop(tm) so any suggestions i can get before starting to paint this freakishly sexy man would be awesome.

i like the cross hatching style you got going on in the back ground but that character freaks me out.. what is he doing on that stump??

I agree with what arsh asked though. I don't think he was trying to rip on it, but you've got a naked guy sitting with his right hand positioned in a way that it looks like he's handling himself. Not to mention the smile on his face

right on.. the character is rather disturbing... thats just how he came out... no pun intended...


pethaps i should modify him so he doesnt look like hes jukin off...

the initial idea was for him to just be "chillin on the stump" but also make it look like he was about to get up and go somewhere else

I like the creature towering over the clouds. He could maybe a sneaky god from olympus. hehe. Be a very cool image to model in 3D

right now the balance of the picture is crooked/warped/flat
primarly due to the slanted angles of the rocks (and waterfall), in comparason to the character.

right on: I agree with you there wolf: in the photoshop painting I will try to balance the image a bit better... and work on composition of the elements in the scene

Why is he wearing combat boots but naked otherwise? Anywho, dig the crosshatching, interesting drawing. 8-)

yeah, the combat boots i just thought would be fun to render... no rhyme or reason... but i'm going to change the character and the mood of the drawing when i paint it in photoshop... work on the scale of the objects in the background to help push them back and try to get a better direction of light as well.. so that the image isn't so flat...

where did the character come from? did u see any movies about little men with camo boots. hehe. Did yous start with the background first with the rocks or the character first?

start3d with the character first... and the character was something that i actually saw when i was asleep... the actual character is slightly more fucked up than this one.. i altered it ... i'll draw the actual character from the dream ... but this one was more interesting to me

i just thought the boots would be fun to render actually
