3D Modeler/Texture Artist

Responsibilities:
The Lockheed Martin 3D Modeler/Texture Artist will be responsible for creating highly accurate geo-specific vehicle, building, and terrain models and textures. The models and textures will be incorporated into a high resolution terrain database that is used for military simulations. Source data will be provided in the form of satellite imagery and digital photographs.

Location: Bellevue, WA
Job Type: Contract (work from home or at our office)
Project Length: 3 - 6 months (potential for more projects in the future depending on
performance)

Required Skills:
-Thorough understanding of polygonal modeling and UV texture mapping in
-3D Studio Max.
-Strong traditional art background.
-Highly proficient with Photoshop.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Optional Skills:
-Experience with Virte or OpenFlight
-Experience developing art for large scale distributed military simulations.
