Kitteh, what method are you using to model, if you aren't already plane modeling, you should be, it is far superior to poly modeling for weapons in just about every way (faster, more efficient, better results)
Don't know what you mean by that.. But I started this with a plane, molded it into the grip, added polies for the rest, with a symmetry modifier, collapsed that, made necessary changes for correct asymmetry. The slide I just made polygons inside the rest of the guns object, then i detached and did another symmetry modifier, collapsed to, then did asymmetry changes (such as adding ejector port), didnt start with a plane. I'm using Editable poly for all of this.
