I had this GBA laying around for years and decided to get a few new games since my main PC is currently being hogged by my Fiance for The Sims 2. Decided to go retro, so...
Final Fight Zero... Oh my god, just like the old arcade machine... very impressed, (though some of the weapons are missing).
Street Fighter Turbo Revival... suprisingly good also... though waaay too easy. Thought it would be slow, but no... actually a pleasure to play.
Final Fantasy Tactics. Third suprise... a deep gameplay and rather addictive.
Ok, so any more good games out there? The shelves seem to be full of kiddy games and license games (rarely good).

Kirby's Nightmare isn't too bad, if you don't mind the retarded writing.
Astro Boy: The Omega Factor: Looks like a stupid licensed game but unlike he PS2 version it's actually a good game.
Metroid: Zero Mission: While it's not the greatest Metroid title it's a very good game in its own right. When you're finished with the game you can start with the sequence breaking which turns the game into a completely different experience.
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga: Might look like a game for kids but it's one of the best RPGs out there. The combat is a nice mixture of turn based and action based.
Zelda: Minish Cap: Stupid plot, feels like bad fan fiction but the gameplay is really good.
Avoid Golden Sun, that game is as incomplete as Halo 2. It's nice for an RPG but since it's story driven (not that good a story, either, damn clicheed), ending the game half way through with the words "now our adventure really begins" REALLY hurts the game.
Advance Wars 1 and 2: Good, turnbased strategy games.
Wario Ware Mega Microgames: The first one, not Twisted. 200 insane little minigames.
Mario Kart is awesome on the GBA- it's proper old school handling rather than the bastardised setup that the N64 and GC versions had
