Man how time flies, tomorrow i will be leaving the US to start my new job in The Netherlands. Been speaking with a few counters from Holland which i hope to meet over there and jet lag not withstanding ill go off over the weekend and check out Purmerend and Amsterdam.

I deliberately dont sleep the night before a long flight in a vain attempt to force me to sleep on the plane. It *NEVER* works and I just end up feeling even shitter

I also plan on visiting London as well,found a great site which is for a ferry that goes from Amsterdam to London for about 28 euro so id also love to meet some London polycounters too.

Hehe I was in a restaurant a few years ago in Amsterdam with my ex girlfriend when a woman started talking to me in Dutch. As I got up I apologised for in actual fact being English and she goes 'oh yes, you look very dutch but I can see that you are not now you're standing, sorry'. Haha. I'm 5'9" and yeah, I feel short in Holland.
Apparently the large percentage of south east asian immigrants that have been coming over since the fifties are now tall too. Must be all the dairy products. Or all the marijuana or something.

I don't think Brits are renowned for being particularly tall. Bad teeth perhaps, but not tall. We're mongrels really.
There are 2 American guys I know at work that are the exact same height as me ( one of which is my personal trainer ) and both swear they're 5'11". Suspicious
