Hi all,
I am modelling my local police station. The model is just half way done I still need to do the back which has a huge extension. However, currently I am a little stuck on how much detail I need to put into this. I am aiming for mid range poly. Could you tell me if this is ok thus far, or do you think I can go for more detail, especially around the windows, like actually modelling in the window frames etc? Im a little stuck so any help would be most appreciated.
Furthermore, do you think I should make slices into the building so that I can actually weld in the windows into the building or should I just leave it as it is now and just simply attach them to the building?
Thanks!

btw there are more parts in your model to lower but i was to lazy to draw it over...
What is this crazy talk?
Well, if you dont have enough you will get lighting artifacts. So subdivide that big box. This will also make it easier to texture as you can tile textures.
Thanks.

It's doesn't use many polygons, and I have tons more examples of this if you'd like me to describe the process further.
Is this what you were asking for?
@ cholden
I would love to see more examples, and an explanation of the process! It would be most appreciated. I am really stuck on doing this! Thanks again to all!
