any way to watch Real files without their app?

wanted to watch a few of the vids off the Top Gear website (particularily the "Stig Dies" one)... but they're all Real Audio movies.. and I refuse to install their crappy playback app... any alternatives/ plugins?

I have as friend who has a hacked media player that plays real files. I'll ask him for it.

if you're downloading the files, they should work in VLC or media player classic if you have the real player codec installed.

I agree with you, but I bit the bullet and downloaded this bloatware a while ago to listen to radio1 on the bbc website. Actually if you stop the installation process after the player and it's codecs are done, you don't get all that marketing bullshit.

However you look at it, embedded or not, you're gonna have to DL real.

Real Alternative installs the Real codec without the player or any other crap (it comes with MPlayer Classic, though), there's also a Quicktime Alternative out there. Did you find any problems with it, Hawken?
