I am modelling a tank for BF2 at the moment and I was wondering if there is a way to check the polycounts of objects within the editor. So far I have not found an option to display it and I don't think it's possible to export objects from the editor.
My main problem is that the turret mounted machinegun has a separate texture and a specific poly limit aswell which I am trying to find out. I can sort guess by looking at the wireframe, but that's not really satisfactory.
I'm going with 6000 poly for LOD0 of the whole tank as per the guide given.
If anyone knows how to find the polycount for the MG or just plain knows what it is, that would be great.
