Dang, I really like the background actually. You did a great job with composition and color choices on the whole thing, even if the skin is a bit monochromatic. Looking good duder. Now, GIMME THEM SKILLZ.
really digging the soft reflection of the background color on his arms, wonderfully done.
his face looks bizarre; its like he's smiling/grimacing except he doesn't actually have any lips... so I guess its just the tendons in his cheek? I think his face could use some more color... paler skin, spots that are redder. Right now it looks like he went overboard with a spray-on tanner.
I like it, but my bro didn't like it. Guess it's just not his thing. :P
One thing I noticed, his right hand is much smaller than his left, and the right arm is also bigger than his left. Might want to fix that.
Oooh. thats ace as usual KP. but man... on the left arm(right on the pic) theres this small round highlight at the shirt lining. it looks strange, just like you. intentional or just something you havent spotted? hmmm.
omgz
its disco inferno
do you remember that stuff from Dungeon Keeper II?
hehehe
the rendering is tight like a 16 yrz old
your anatomy is very well articulated
but where is the perspective?
im afraid you are doing too much texture work man
you are starting to think flat, head on view
at least i think if you didnt so forcefully try and push the muscles so much, things would have more natural look and perspective will reveal itself. see one arm shows a lot from the rear-side muscles, which suggests a view point from the side-below. his head is straight on frontal, and his far arm is back again to frontal. it shouldnt be so visible. there is no perspective
you can work it out, you should be beyond showing off the muscles, perspective should be your focus imo.

It definitely looks like you had a lab in the middle of the night or early morning, and your mind wandered (Not that it's a bad thing!)

aaaaaaahahahahahaha made my day!!
Come to think on it, have you read any of Eric Powell's 'The Goon'? It's like Will Eisner and Kurtzman dropping acid with Berni Wrightson. Really.
And your guy is FROM that town.
