NCSoft Orange County is seeking an experienced Lead Texture Artist to join its seasoned team of industry professionals led by key contributors of award winning massively multiplayer games. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly creative environment and contribute to the development of a new game from the ground up.
The Lead Texture Artist will work with the art director, character / creature team and design team to lead a team of texture artists to provide and apply textures for characters, creatures, armor, weapons, items, environments and interiors.
Requirements:
Highly creative, passionate, driven artist
Photoshop, Painter and ZBrush experience
Familiarity with shader based rendering including normal, specular and diffuse maps
Outstanding traditional illustration skills in multiple mediums, including a firm grasp of color theory
Experience in a broad variety of styles and genres
Minimum 3 years Game Industry experience required and/or minimum 2 shipped titles
Ability to cooperate on a team level a must
Ability to adhere to established creative direction
Online gaming experience a plus
