glad i have not been arrested for every time i've hit a person with a rock when i was younger, the other article i read about this said that 2 or 3 boys were chasing her and hitting her with water balloons, and jsut being general asses,

this was actualy linked in that study on game violence = real violence. also in that article was linked the story about the girl who was arrested in DC for eating ne french fry while at a train stop.

i think there were several boys bullying her. I'd say the 2 lb rock was fair. who knows what could have happened to her if she hadn't have ended it. did this article mention she doesn't speak english, and the cops showed up with all kinds of backup, even a helicopter i think.

same as Vig... I got hit by a rock when a mate and myself were throwing lumps of clay at each other. Hit me between the left eye and the temple. A few stitches and later and I was the centre of attention at the school disco later that day.

Entering litigation didn't even cross my mind.

Man, me and my neighbor got into a rock fight once, but it ended when he nailed me in the chin with a brick...i guess i pissed him off by hitting him in the nuts with one.

We used to have fruit grenade fights. We'd stick an M80 into a cored apple, orange, avocado (we had many many fruit bearing tree's on our land when I was a kid) and toss them at eachother.

I once got a wet orange seed lodged in my eye under my eyelid. Owchy!

I cant say wen was the first time was hit by a rock..bt i can say that it wasnt the only time >.>. Guess growing up in another country, rocks on your head are just part of growing up xD. This reminds me of a cousin of mines. He was being examined by a doctor and for some reason he checke his scalp, and his reaction was something like "jebus kid were you in a war or something?" lol >.>. Idk what that says about me but hey, its rock striking head related

We used to play this game with a bloody big rock at school... based on the dog skull game in the film Salute of the Jugger. Eventually we switched to using a sodding big bit of wood instead because it didnt slip out your hand when your inevitable cuts bled too much. Wood stuck to your hands so was "safer".. eventually the school banned it. They where just being touchy if you ask me.
I went to a nice safe public school in England.

heh, always used to throw things and hit each other with generally most things you find. We used to have Acorn fights a lot as kids, simply because you could without being told off by the teacher or making anyone cry.

Now it's like anything we can lay our hands on. DVDs, Beer Cans, Furbies, etc.
The joys of being guy, you get to grow old but never grow up.

Anyone else accidentially practise thier shooting with thier room-mates 'all new Furby' plush? It was like a little game. Each time it started to talk, I'd shoot it again. Just wish we were allowed live ammo here, the rubber bullets don't quite has the same destructive effect.
