sory about the post guys, i'm looking for help, not to smear my personal life on the boards.
and without any sort of explaination, (don't wory, i'm in no trouble, it's not even anything to do with me.... hardly.) i'm looking for a lawyer (in the vancouver area, although i'll take anything) who specializes in canada/us relations, or international relations of any kind for that matter. how US law applies to canadians, under what situations, that sort of thing.
the problem is i have no idea even where to start looking! if anyone has any sort of tips, even if it's as simple as where i can go in my city to ask such a question, that'd be moooost helpful.

Canada has an extradition treaty with the USA, this means if you break an american law there is a chance they can deport you to be tried in an american court.
It should work the other way around too...though don't hold your breath.
Johnny, you just pay your alamony dude... *wink*
Thx for the help tonight eh.
