I was just in the middle of a lv 5 earthquake. Actually I was in the middle of crimping one off when in hit
luckily, it wasn't the type that demolishes everything. This was slow and hard. The sharp hard ones are pretty scary. Because nothing bad happened this information doesn't have the potential to leave Japan.
Unfortunatly this sort of thing is a pain because it messes with all the trains in Tokyo. Basically they all stop where they are, and wait for several hours.
(a bizzare addittion: near my house there's a loud speaker that sounds off at 6pm everyday to tell kids to go home for their dinner. After the quake hit, a voice came over the speaker telling everyone that everything is ok. These loud speakers are all over Japan, and some even play fitness excercises in the mornings, in the rural areas.)
