At work I heard this happened about 2PM GMT,but ive only just got home and oviously its all over the news (at 5pm GMT)

Apprently a press conference is underway sometime soon and its currently saying 2 people have been arrested....but apart from that its all guess work

current situation is; an explosion on a no 26 bus on hackney road. no-one injured although windows were broken. some witnesses say there was a backpack left on the top deck. explosions, small ones at the oval, shepherd's bush and woodgate (i think) stations. pretty minor, one person injured at shepherd's bush. someone ran into university college hospital and was chased by 3 armed (read SWAT) police officers. a man was arrested close to the gates to downing street. he was acting suspiciously and had a backpack and seemed to be of mid-eastern or indo-pakistani origin. it was caught on TV by reporters in the area. a lot of the tube trains were getting going again by 3pm although natch they weren't going into the affected stations. reports suggest the explosions could have been detonators going off.
