Just finished this script off, its a very useful set of tools in max to help compile your HL2 files. All the info you should need will be on the page as well as link to download. Please read it carefully to make sure you install it correctly.

Thanks a bunch man! I've been looking into Half Life 2 modding alot recently.

no problem man just make sure you have your directories setup when your exporting the textures.... If you have messed around with it and have working models in half-life2 then chances are they are already setup correctly.... If not then go the page and look for the vtex field description, and there is some help there.
