Bone: The Adventure Game

The folks over at TellTale Games just recently posted the trailer to Bone: The Game. This is an adventure game in the style of Monkey Island or other LucasArts adventure games. Most of the people involved on the project are ex Lucas employees, so it's more then a coincidence about the style.

Having enjoyed many classic adevture games myself, I'm excited to see the pure form of the genre live on via games like this.

YEAH! An adventure game I thought they where all dead?! This has to be hoax, no one makes adventure games any more especially about characters like Bone. One of my favorite genres and one of my favorite comics... it has to be a hoax...

Hmm, I never read the Bone comic book, but from what I understand it is quite good.

The company looks interesting also. Maybe when my portfolio is up to snuff I can start buggin them.

These where the guys who were going to resurrect the canceled Sam & Max game, I wonder if they are still planning to do that?

The negotiations with Lucas Arts failed, they can't make Sam&Max. I'm not sure if they couldn't get the franchise or only the game stuff itself. I think they got Purcell on board so they probably have the rights to the characters.

This is one of the things that I've always wanted to see turned into a game. The book has been one of my favorites for years. I am really looking forward to this game.
