Well i have a slight distinction of being able to say im from somewhere else and American and its true, im Puerto Rican(born there too) but since its a coomonwealth of the USA it makes me American born as well so i am both American and PuertoRican.

But my ancestory is from Ireland and Spain and my name even furthur confuses people where im from i have a spanish first name and Irish last,so im often mistaken for european or white American.

as for stereotypes they dont bother me,no word, phrase or racal slur can offend me really, just a word and if i give it power and let it bother me they accomplish their goal.

As for hate i never got racisim either, why? theres no point,i have better use of my time and thought process to waste it hating people of other races like thinking about beer and boobs . The way i see it is my hate is a special thing, given to only those who have truely earned my disdain

the only 100% stereotype is the one about having big feet= a big cock, thats true,100% true .

im 6'3 and i wear a size 16 so i have no bias on the issue wink.gif

you should see the looks i get when i wear my Tshirt which has "all proportional" written on it. smile.gif

Random story semi-related to the topic:

There was some old lady on a bus my sister overheard. Apparently there were two Turks babbling about how there are four million Turks in Germany and soon they'd take over the country, etc. The grandma turned around and said "We once had 4 million Jews in Germany". Well, I think it's funny though VERY un-PC.

Hrm, I don't know about the American Commonwealth but the if you're born in Canada it doesn't mean you're British.

You're not seriously saying that because you're part of a country that is part of a commonwealth that you are that nation? If you're part of the European Union (Your country is) you can roam Europe but you aren't that Country.

people from puerto rico are automaticlly American, when i first moved here i needed no passport nor a green card

we use the same currency as well

    http://www.loc.gov/rr/hispanic/1898/foraker.html

ever since the foraker act all people from this commonwealth are americans and require no process to become american, all citizens born there are americans as well, all the federal laws from america apply there as well

so yes i was born american but born puerto rican as well.
