I've looked everywhere for this one, but it's coming up dry. How do you simply have a link open up the user's outlook with an email address preloaded in the 'To:' field. Additionally, you think that's a smart idea? Or is there a more universally accepted method?

Also, you can add additional parameters to the link. For example, to fill the subject line I think you add something like "?subject=type subject here" after the email address. This way, you can setup a filter on your email client to save emails with that specific subject line to a special folder, or just to make sure it doesn't see it as spam. You can also add multiple addresses by separating them with commas and include CC and BCC addresses.
