Sail plane licence in 2 weeks

I'm leaving for 2 weeks to go get my glider pilot licence!

Its pretty cheap (1600, considering commerical licence is like 10 000 dollars)
It is closer to sailing in the air then anything. Its a step towards getting a full pilot's licence next summer.

Also, once I get enough money to get a share holding in a sail plane I am going to try to convince them to let me put a decal of the UT2004 raptor on the vertical stablizer.

good luck. sounds like fune. I'd like to get a pilot's license sometime in the future. I've never been in a plane before, and don't plan on it unless I'm the one flying. :P

been ages since i've been in a sail plane (must have been at least 10 years if not more)... i want to do that again someday, man it's an incredible feelin to just be hanging on an updraft in one of those things.
