UT2004 Character COMPLETE Suggestion

Im trying to find a ut2k4 character that includes the whole kit n' kaboodle as far as having custom sound and voice packs, to character menu descriptions and team colors setup for all game types. Does anyone have a suggestion of a character someone has made that does of this?

In short I want to see how they setup up the species and sound classes, and how the .u(s) are linked. That and like how the sound files are named, and ordered. Im trying to see how the standard ones work, but these properties are spread over alot of classes that are imbedded already. So looking at an external one would help me greatly!

All custom stuff will probably still inherit fron the base code. Custom sound I've done (but not released) test wise, just make your own version of one of the species files. Custom gibs must be derived from the existing gib classes. Voice packs have tutorials everywhere.

You won't get any class without inheritance there, UT2004 really is a mess in that department.

Well, still at least if I could see one complete versus searching all over the net for each part separately, it would save me alot of frustration.

Any suggestions of a character that someone has made that has it all?

I think it's always EITHER custom species OR voice pack, don't think there was one that had both.

So you can't make a new voice pack specifically tailored to your character?

It's possible, the voice pack can be selected by others too. But no model includes both the voicepack AND a custom species.

Slyrr's Farnsworth character had both custom species and voicepack: the species was required for custom code to implement certain effects and correct for weapon-specific glitches. a google should get you a number of links.l
