As much as every gullible person in the world would like to pin this one on video games, this is really a case of two parents who left their infant alone in the house. For those who don't have kids, this is something you MUST NEVER DO. They could have been out drinking, but would alcohol get the rap? I think not.

"the couple had just left their daughter with Yu's mother-in-law, who lived upstairs from them"
Jesus... I can't even imagine how stupid and negligent you would have to be to leave your infant home alone, but the fact that they had an immediate relative living in the same fucking building and didn't have her look after the child just compounds the stupidity ten fold.
well i'm glad that it's clear in this thread that the commonality here is that neglectful parents have always been neglecting their children like this for a long time, and it's not something about WoW or gaming etc. that's responsible for these people doing horrible things.
they'll probably get nailed pretty hard, but then again, can you even imagine living with the weight of that on your conscience? your kid is dead as a direct result of your neglect? rough stuff.

The saddest thing about it is that they could have just left the kid with the person who lives upstairs from them.
"We booked the pair on criminal charges, judging that when you consider the situation, they were responsible for their daughter's death."
Let us all hope that the parents don't go the "Eit wazz teh gaemes faeult!!1!" way. Also, keep in mind that this happened in KOREA - not the USA...
hahahaha...yeah here in the states we blame the real culprit for child endangerment and infanticide...GTA San Andres
What is it with their obsession with Blizzard games? Haha
