MSH, or Monad Shell, is a command line interface and scripting language being developed by Microsoft that was planned to be a part of their next operating system, codenamed Windows Longhorn. As of June 13, 2005 it will be included in the Longhorn release. It is similar in usage to the Unix shells, but, like most of Longhorn, is based on object-oriented programming and the .NET framework. Occasionally this shell is called WSH, in spite of the prior use of that name for the scripting technology called Windows Scripting Host.

I doubt it'll measure up to bash/ksh, but this means that Windows programmers can start to incorporate CLI options into their programs

I know a Perl programmer who wrote a shell he called MSH a few years back. Full name was Matrix Shell, it had some really stupid features related to screen output.
