well, i dunno about anyone else, but for me, this series has been FANTASTIC!

great special FX, especially the SPOILER

army of daleks

/SPOILER

in this week's final episode. i've thoroughly enjoyed it and i want more! i'm slightly disappointed at no more ecclestone, cos i really liked him. but onwards eh?

hope the new season does more set in the past tho, we've had 4 not set in the present or future, one of which was in 1987 and two in WW2, so some more in the more diatant past would be nice...

I saw one episode, Looked pretty cool, but I was pre-occupied with somthing else at the time :P (there was a wierd baby faced alien in the episode, that had a human costume to wear in the public)

Yeah, sucks that Ecclestone's leaving so soon, he just seems to have so much fun in the role. Hopefully Capt. Jack stays around for a bit longer at least (course I havent' seen the series finale so hopefully they don't lose him either)

Seconded on the series being fantastic, great characters, good stories and sweet FX.

I throughly enjoyed the whole series. I wasn't convinced by Ecclestone at first, but once he started to tone down the Tom Baker-alike oddness (I think around the Dalek episode) and started exploring the dark corners of the Doctor's personality, he became really watchable.

Looking forward to seeing what David Tenant can do with it. Loved his performance in Casanova (another really enjoyable series).
