Hey,
Does anybody know where they are located? I tried the last address I found which was 24 Broughton Street today but they aren't there... any ideas guys?
I'm looking for Scottish companies you see, just to visit and get an idea of how they operate... probably be checking out a few in Dundee and other places next week.
I tried R* North since I was down that way looking for Edgies, it's a pretty elite place. You go in and it's just a security gaurd sitting below a big metal R* sign. He didn't let me in though, said they only deal with people through agencies. It was certainly a new experience, never knew developers would be so secretive...
I've never heard of Edgies :P
The only company that I know of worth mentioning in Dundee are Visual Science, they're in the Technology Park out near Invergowrie. Lots of cool folks work there!
Generally you cannot turn up unannounced anywhere. What, do you expect someone to drop everything they are doing just to see you? Wherever you try to go, contact them before hand.

How do you suppose companies like Blizzard are able to keep games under wraps for years at a time?
In fact, from what I understand, if you go to the mailing address for Blizzard North all you'll find is a small office where they recieve their mail. The actual dev studio is at a seperate location.
Of course Blizzard doesnt want you to know where there real offices are. If you ever found them you would find a massive sweatshop housing small children bred for 3d design and animation working diligently at their computers day in and night out whilt the evil blizzard executives cackle with glee.
