anyone know how to invert a normal map?

hey guys. sory if this has been posted before but i couldn't find it.

i made a normal map with Y down and i need it to be Y up (one or the other, anyway...)

anyway, i spent a few hours painting out seems so i'd rather not have to do it all again.

John-- you can try just inverting the green channel of the image in photoshop, that works fine. asshole.

I was gonna suggest that, but didn't reply as I thought it seemed too obvious. I didn't research it since I figured it must have been more complex than that

Yeah, even I thought of that when I was mentioning a good way to have an even normal-map on a mirrored symmetrical model, ages back.
