Long time no post...but saw this and had to...
Since I have been down here in Monterey, CA studying my ass off to learn Japanese (again), I have not had a lot of freetime, so my visits have been infrequent at best.
Sorry if you cannot see the Japanese fonts below...
I have known for along time that the name Tom is usually translated as fighting warrior, but that is translating just a bit incorrectly. The name Tom only as one 'O'. The Japanese Kanji used for the name Tom from this site, as well as other sources use the Kanji 闘 which if written in romanji would be pronouced Tou...with a long O sound and written either Tou or Too. Tom should be pronouced with a short 'O' sound and written Tomu. I prefer this Kanji spelling for Tomu 図武。Those Kanji would be pronouced and written at Tomu and it means Drawing Warrior.
the Jack part of Jackablade translates to Ji A Ku - Rule Asia Eternity. Stephen = Su Chi Bun - Protect Wisdom Literature. A choice of being a monk or a king, I guess.

sukotto! or as i prefer to be called, man running with scarf, backwards c, smiley face, lamp post
The kanji used to write your name mean:
"You are a mighty warrior who has many great ideas and understands the ways of reason."
Using my nickname instead:
Uiru Kokkusu
"You have a great mind from which many wonderful ideas flow, wise warrior."
"You are a mighty warrior ruling Asia under the protection of heaven"
I'm going on a trip to Japan somewhere around Sept. so it looks like Japan and the rest of Asia is about to get pwned!
"You are a mighty warrior, always surrounded by safety"

You are as beautiful as a haiku poem, and are highly esteemed for your merciful and gracious heart.
Down it goes, and more and more
up goes its tail!

Phonetic except the 10,000 or so kanji that are part of everday Japanese writing and conversation.
