Could use a little help ...

Okay people, I could use a little help.

I'm bringing back a site full of eye-candy of skins ... I'm sure some people used to know what this was called ... and I need a few recommendations on new HOT skins to review, preferable UT2003/4 skins since that's fairly new ... I'm going to pick a few to start this off.

I suppose a place to start searching would be this big fat repository of skins known as SkinCity: http://skincity.beyondunreal.com/

You could also scavenge around the polycount cottages around here and see what's nice to look at.

I have a suggestion. I remember seeing a pale clown-type skin for ophelia. I liked that a lot despite it being a clown skin.

Nah, all of her skin was white, I think it may have been on the old boards. My HD fried my old files so I can't help anymore than that, sorry.

It's not Taliah nor Gothica then ... okay maybe it's a different skin then ... I'll eventually run into it. Thanks anyway.

I don't think he released those for any game, never mind those were models, not skins (skin refers to a new texture for an existing model here).

I think it was Shotgun who did the clown-ish skin for Ophelia that's being referred to here. I don't know if he ever released it as a playable skin, though.

Actually, I've been meaning to ask bearkub to unsticky it for the time being but never really got the chance to do that this week. It was originally stickied because I needed a few pointers on what skins I should review before I open the site ... but since the site won't be open for quite a long time for now, I figured this thread shouldn't be stickied until then.
