I would play a polycounter based game. I dont have any of the expansions, and am using q2ice engine though.

the first one is always occupied, always someone there to play. it has a few non-vanilla options like weapons stay and some weapons added like extra rails, and occasionally custom maps, but usually one of us admins will warn a map or two before the customs come on.

the second is full blown SP maps, full armor, quad, invul, bfg, no weapon stay VANILLA

I played on your server the other night Duke - I guess about 5 maps or so. I really need to learn Q2dm maps other than the "Edge" I guess I didn't do TOO bad though. Finished in the top half on one of the matches on the very full server.

THe servers are pretty fun. But I don't like the frag limit. 30 isn't enough. Maps often last anywhere from 3 - 5 minutes.
Sometimes weird settings kick in, too. I remember playing q2dm3 last night with low grav. Everyone was floating around making for easy railgun pick offs.

Overall it's good to play again. I wish more people would play on the Sheridan server. I used to play on the original one. The server used to have a streak record that recorded how many frags a player could get without getting killed. Powershield = God mode
