Art Schools in North America?

Ok I just got rejected from ACAD (Alberta Collage of Art and Design's) Visual Communications course, and fed up with them to apply there ever again... (this is my 2nd rejection from a highly competitive course. My friend that got into the Visual Course 2 years ago was also suprised I didn't get in)

Now I'm gonna start looking at art schools for the 2006/07 semester (I presume most portfolio dead lines have past by now for the 2005/06 year). Now can anybody remcommend, or has a list of art collages here in North America? My friend suggested Sherriton in Toronto might be a good idea.

I'm particullary looking for classes in Illustration, Design, and Game Design (concept art/3D modeling)

I know several people I work with went to Sheridan. Also, practically a whole class was hired by Ubi Montreal for a PS2 project. I never went myself (went to CDIS, now Ai: Vancouver-Burnaby. Don't go there!!!!!), so I don't know if they're actually any good, or if it's just the name of the school that gets you noticed.

Sheridan. Ensemble has hired a number of very talented artists out of that school.

Vancouver Film school looks promising, as with Sheridan (has a illustration specific course).

Although Vancover Film school I'm having trouble deciding between 3D Animation & Visuals or Digital Design (I'm unsure about the Game Design course in terms of Illustration)

Anything particularly wrong with AI: Vancouver-Burnaby Jkim?

I regret going ti Art Institute of Houston. All they taught me was how to build an Oil rig in 3d. Now they are going for a 4 year course. To teach more 3d on Oil rigs.
