Here's a little dude I started with last night. Im working without a concept on this one.=D Crits are most wellcome.

I think he looks more like an Undertaker then a farmer. :]
i suggest an even more gaunt and dessicated look, exaggerating the depth of the eye sockets and sunken cheeks, with, perhaps some discrete bloody wounds for color accents.
also, i think a watch chain runs from a button hole -- see this page watch chain example
nice model and texture so far. and he does resemble Abe to a considerable degree.

Soccerman, yea, your absolutly right. Im working on it, its damn hard to get the right feeling. Im trying to find a balace in the colorvalues. It still just looks like an old dude..:/
Anyways, I have still gotta work in some more details aswell as working with the highlights. His ears is some photo I found on google. Gotta paint new once. Gotta try to get some more contrast in the whole texture aswell.
