Saw this movie Immortals (original title is Immortel I believe) last night and I was very suprised by it.
I had never heard about it but it was very good.
Loads of CG. There are only about 5 people acting in this movie. The rest are CG characters.
It's written and directed by Enki Bilal who is a well known French comic artist.
The story is pretty good and worth checking out if you're into sci-fi and CG.
Probably 90% of the folks here

Seeing the blue haired woman/pyramid I knew exactly what this is. They published Bilal's story in Heavy Metal about 10~15 years ago. I'm definitely hunting this one down.

I really need to find this movie.. kinda hard to come by went renting it.

Cool bit of info.. quantic dream.. makers of Omikron: Nomad soul.. did the mo-cap work for this movie.

Most of the CG humans look VERY VERY poor tho but there is also some VERY nice CG.

True Toomas. Some of the character work and lip/facial animation wasn't all that good but it didn't really bother me because everything blended very good into the art style of the whole movie.

I ordered it from www.redsundvd.com. Not vouching for them, I haven't ever dealt with them before ... just saying, it's available there.

Saw it when it was on theatres last year... disliked it.

What surprized me the most is the quality gap between this piece and Bilaal's work in general. While I deeply enjoyed everything I've read/seen from him before, this movie left me disappointed. As an example, I don't get why CG humans have been used in this. Budget reasons or artistic choice maybe...

However some parts are gorgeous, and the girl is awesome. She's an former missFrance after all
