Finally a decent Besson/Jet Li film(i list them both due to their latest outings being so so). Li's performance was spot on and his english seems to be getting better. I couldn't help but get attached to his character as he reminded me of Leon. He has all of the innocent childlike qualities of Leon, but when that collar comes off look out. The fights are well choreographed and the wire work is minimal Wires are used mainly to show the force behind Li's attacks as he sends the enemies flying. There is one fight scene that tops them all though. Be on the lookout for the scene in the bathroom. It's excellent. Oh yeah, Bob Hoskins is very good too. The slimy little bastard.

I'll be sure to check it out!
Big fan of Hoskins and I've enjoyed all the Li movies I've seen. All the other stuff you mentioned I have no clue about :P
I'll be sure to check it out!

no Idea about Leon or my shoddy sentence structure? If it's Leon, I was referring to Leon: The Professional. It's a damn good film about a hitman who befriends a small girl. I won't go into anymore detail, but I highly recommend it.
Oh, yeah, and I'll see what I can do about seeing that new Li film ... haven't seen any new movies in a good long while, dammit!
But above all, the cage fight with weapons that seemed like an homage to a Mortal Kombat movie sequel took the cake.
I think Morgan Freedman took a bleach bath after production of this one.
What the Fuck are you smokin...well opinions are like assholes....

Goodness, any real reason for the hostility, or is it just terribly shocking that someone can have an opinion that differs from yours?
