Why the Re-Posting?

First let me state I love Polycount, Ive learned much from its resources and as such am indebted. That said, why are old reviews of old models being reposted without any acknowledgement that it is a reposting? First thing that bothers me is that on the front page column it states that it is a "New Review" under the title while you can search down the model download bar and see that they are dated a year or so prior. Theres ethical issues there. Second, there is content in the model que that is worthy of review and display. Admitedly, Im noticing this largly because Ive got some stuff waiting there myself but thats a mute point as GOD HORUS is there as well and Id say its one of the best mods Ive seen to date.

If its simply a push of good but undernoticed works thats fine but the fact that its a reposting should be stated in the "NEW"s post.

Sledgy said that's kind of a funeral for models being removed from the model bar, he and r13 apparently agree on the issue even hough it confuses the hell out of everybody else. I almost started a poll on the issue yesterday, how many polycounters think those reposts are fine/necessary vs. how many find them absolutely confusing (especially since the models get removed from the model bar with the newspost so you don't see that they were old).
