I am attempting to build a structure made entirely of Ibeams. The only problem is I can't seem to find reference on how the beams join up. I've hit google but only found beams that join in 90 degree angles, no ref of beams that are on the 45 degree. Can anyone help me out here? i'd appreciate it.

Thats how i would do it.
Essentially you cut the beam off at the angle you want, then weld (this is rather high quality weld as it can be done on ground) steel flap to it then bolt it to the post and weld (this one you cant rely on as it must be done while the beam is allready in its final position, that might be hundred meters high and not easily reachable) the flap to the post.
Maybe if i have some free time at work tomorrow i check some codes and see how they suggest it should be done.
