Leading game developer in Southern California is seeking the best and the most creative game developers in the games industry to help build their pipeline for their current and next generation consoles. This developer is a relatively small and extremely successful company; their titles have sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. They are currently working on three unannounced titles for current and next generation consoles. CINEMATIC/STORYBOARD ARTIST

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong interest to work in the video game industry
• Love of Games
• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH 3-6 YEARS OF GAMES /FILM EXPERIENCE
• EDUCATION: 2-4 years cinematic training must the following: camera placement, shot theory, storytelling, and composition.
• Familiarity with Maya toolsets is STRONGLY preferred!!!!
• Clear and extensive understanding of 3D camera systems.
• Must have the ability to show strong story boarding skills in addition to a strong understanding of pacing and shot selection.
• Ability to adapt to established styles and themes
• Strong drawing skills
• Good Attitude

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The story/board cinematic artist will work as the cinematographer for all the pre-rendered and real-time game cinematic
• Ability to define scene direction through storyboards, animatics, and camera placement
• Responsible for scene files for animation while they will ensure real-time engine compatibility.
• Define and maintain an efficient workflow for scene creation through the use of this studios in-house proprietary tools
• Collaborating with studio animation director to implement cameras for pre-rendered and real-time cinematic
• Collaborate closely with the studios tools department for scene software development.
• Ability to maintain a solid understanding of camera technique and maya functionality
• Openness to work effectively across multiple projects.
