I am completely new to modding for UT2004 and Max's biped (I always use bones) and I can't seem to find the answer to this in the tutorials that I have found.

I am making a model for UT2003 and it doesn't fit the standard bipeds very good. It's an anime chick model so the anatomical proportions aren't very human.
I've read in a couple of tutorials that you can scale the biped to make it fit the model.
But can you scale individual biped bones? I actually only want to make the upper and lower leg bones longer. Or will this mess up the standard animations?

I always scale my biped bones when they don't fit the model, but I have never tried it with stock-animations from a game. I don't think that should cause any prorblems, but wait for someone who knows more than me about this to answer before you start messing with the scale.

I'd ask Seyiji & KDR_11k, since they had experince with all aspects of Female Anime Model Creation. They both have had great results with what they do. Maybe try picking thier brains a bit for assistance would be in order?

Put the biped in figure mode, then scale all you like on whatever bones you need to. It should be OK with any of the stock or any other canned animations. Biped will load .bip files from other bipeds of drastically different sizes and proportions pretty well.
