Problem with in game models..

I had recently downloaded a model that I was planning to use for internet games (duh), but Im having a problem when I set my player to the downloaded model. Sure, it works great, but the problem is anyone else who is in the game is also seen with my model on in my screen, even though they dont have it on. Any ideas on how to fix this? Im using Quake 3 btw

unless you use the forceplayer var, normally quake3 will show you proper models of the other players once you pressed TAB / brought up the score, until then it will defer loading player models and use your own to not interrupt playtime.

Im not quite sure what the forceplayer is, but I know it doesnt clear up by displaying the scores

Type that into the console (~ on the US keyboard). It's somewhere in the options too but since I'm using UIE I can't tell you where.
